Update: In Person Instruction! We are thrilled to report that we have been approved for in person instruction (safe and socially distanced!) for the majority of our classes! That means we will be back in our beautiful remodeled Burbank theatres and state-of-the-art instruction labs. The only classes that will remain on Zoom are THAR 1, THAR 2 and THAR 6.
-
Productions: Due to the fluid situation regarding the reopening of performance venues, Theatre Arts has chosen to not mount productions this fall. This has allowed us to offer more skills classes and prepare for a splashy full reopening with productions spring 2022. Fall is a great opportunity to brush up on your musical theatre techniques, take a design class (or two!), and focus on certificate and major completion. We will be mounting the Shakespeare Showcase (THAR 13.2AL/BL). The spring 2022 play and musical titles will be announced soon (rights pending).
-
THAR 25 Series: Although we are not mounting fall productions, we are still offering THAR 25 (up to 1.5 units) and THAR 25.5. The lab classes will focus on scenic construction for the spring 2022 play and musical.
